histologic examination of hematoxylin-and-eosin stained sections,
histochemical stains (e.g., for mucin, fungi, elastic tissue),
and special immunocytochemical stains useful in the differential
diagnosis of neoplasms and lymphoreticular infiltrates
Immunodermatology
-Direct
immunofluorescence testing of tissue indicated in the evaluation
of bullous diseases, connective tissue diseases, lichen planus,
urticarial eruptions, vasculitis, and a variety of other dermatoses
Oral/maxillofacial
pathology
